Southside Street Traders - Plymouth Barbican 2020 | Devon and Cornwall Photography
On the day before the second lockdown I shot a series of photographs to highlight how difficult the ongoing restrictions and this second wave has made it for independent businesses that make help make the Barbican what it is.
I then shared those images on my blog, Facebook and instagram pages (Greenbeanz Photography) over the next few weeks and included links to the featured businesses to keep them in people's mind for when the restrictions were lifted
Please support these traders.
(This has all taken place at a distance with a long lens, with me outside the properties wearing a mask and respecting social distancing guidelines at all times.)
You can support them by following the links and buying directly from them.
The unique situation we are in unfairly benefits huge corporations and online mega businesses , with which independents struggle to compete. What they can offer though is personal, tailored , bespoke services that those commercial giants can never hope to rival.
